Ruyned was formed in spring 2023 in Timișoara.
Their first demo, Morbid Pleasures, was released in September 2023, followed by a series of shows and festival appearances in Romania. During 2024, the band made huge strides: opening for Impaled Nazarene, Diocletian, and Terrorhammer, winning first place at the National Thrash Metal Olympics — which earned them a spot at EXIT Festival in Serbia as support for the legendary Coroner. That same year, their debut album Eternal Torment was released, accompanied by a tour across Romania.
In 2025, the band won an award for Best Guitarist, released the demo Sex’N Speed, expanded their merch, and embarked on the Tormenting Japan tour (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Kobe, Nara).
Currently a three-piece, Ruyned are brutal, raw, and uncompromising. Their performances are known for speed, explosive riffs, and nonstop moshing.
